The Cross Timbers Landowners Conservancy (CTLC) is a group of local landowners, homeowners and residents who want to stop the construction of wind turbine facilities in Erath and Eastland counties of Texas.

Although it is widely believed wind industrial energy is a viable solution to our nation’s energy problems, the facts tell us wind is an unreliable and undependable energy alternative. Throughout the state, these transmission lines will cost billions of dollars to construct – with costs passed directly to consumers. For Erath and Eastland counties, the construction of industrial wind turbines and their accompanying transmission lines will result in:

The CTLC is dedicated to informing the residents and landowners of Erath and Eastland counties about the imminent threat of industrial windpower installations; and encouraging them to take a stand in protecting the intrinsic beauty, inherent value, and natural resources of our area.
